Everything in the Concho Valley is greener than it’s been in a long time thanks to all the rainfall. However, all the moisture will bring different challenges for plants in the landscape and gardens.
The new challenge is to keep the water in lakes and water sources as long as possible through continued water conservation.
The People/Plant Connection is sponsoring two gardening seminars in July. The Green Thumb Gardener Mini Seminar will help you learn how to recognize plant problems and the monthly Lunch ‘n’ Learn class will help you learn how to use grey water and water condensation from your air conditioner to water your landscape. Mark your calendars for the up-coming gardening seminars to help you keep your plants and landscape healthy during the hot summer days.
